3-12-2011 Non Bake Lemon Orange Cheesecake

This is my first time putting my hands on the non bake cheesecake. I get this recipe from kuali and the results is awesome! Not so much of creamy and cheesy taste but its more to like soury taste due to the orange juice and lemon juice which I've added into. I realise that the base which is made from digestive biscuit is too thin for me. Perhaps on my next round of making this I will add in more biscuit and the base will be more thicker.

Lemon Zest

Digestive Biscuit

Whipping Cream

Cream Cheese

Jelly powder (agar-agar powder)

Melted butter

Mashed digestive biscuits

Results after left in the fridge for overnight

TEFAL Non Stick Fry Pan-Elegance

My parents is in town this week and they stayed overnight at my place while I was thinking to bring them out for shopping suddenly I told my mom...'ma I feel like buying a non stick pan..those that branded type (mom dont know about the brand) what do you think?' My mom told me if I am using it frequently I can consider buying one. So we went to the nearest supermarket, Sunshine Bayan Baru and browse around the TEFAL counter and we came across this TEFAL fry pan original price RM75.90 (-20%) for a 26cm fry pan. When we've decided to buy that fry pan we came across an another model of TEFAL Non Stick Fry Pan - Elegance original price at RM119.00 with 50%! What a whooooppppiiieeeee price! But the pan diameter is only 24cm. Mom like this elegance one so we ended up buying this elegance fry pan. Mom is the first one to try on this pan and she like it...BUT...she's telling me...'the one that your brother bought for me is much more heavier than yours and it's better!' and I was like hmmmmmmmmppppp....

Chinese Herbs-Cooling Drink

He told me last night before bedtime that he has been having a mild headache for the past 3days. The first thought in my mind he is too heaty due to his work nature he often exposed under the sun and rain. Thus this morning I went to the market and bought this chinese herbs I don't know what it called in english but all I know is 'leng yong sai kak'. When I was 13years old I was down with chicken pox my mom has been making this drink for me. From I heard from her this drink has its 'cooling' effect and it's good for those with heaty body.

-Mixed everything with 1.5L water into the slow cooker and let it cook for 3hours with high heat.when its ready shimmer with low heat for about 30mins then turn off. Drink this when it's already cold.

Konstar All In One Kitchen Helper

I bought (to be more precisely...I redeem) this Konstar All in one kitchen kit from COSWAY early this year and I seldom use it. As it contain a number of slicer,grater etc to help us in the kitchen but so far I only use the slicer but not the rest. So last weekend when I was doing some cleaning in the kitchen I found the box in the cabinet and give it a try for juice squeezer and it's so easy to use. Anyway, I've tried to use that to crush the ice cube and it works the wonder. This is the website:
