Two of my mooncake turn out to be good! but not the cream corn type is now its look more like pudding to me :( Ive not tested this both flavor yet cuz i am waiting for him to have the share together tonight :)

Jelly Mooncake...on the way
I managed to bought jelly mooncake mould! The shop only left two of the mould and I bought both..one for me and one for my mom. Although the appearance of the mould does not look good but the design for the jelly mooncake looks nice. I'm loving it and of course the boss gave me some discount for their old stock of the mould. I also bought the smaller size mould cuz it looks so cute!
This is going to be my weekend project. I'll need..carrot...cream sweet corn..cendol..leong fun...coconut milk...gula melaka...pandan leaves

Syrup Jelly
I've bought the agar agar strips few weeks ago but I just chuck it aside as I did not have the rose syrups. BF drove me to our mini market near our apartment and I grab a bottle of this rose syrup. First time buying this type of syrup and did not aware that the color can turn out to be like dark red color. And I have a packet of Basil Seeds in the kitchen. This is the first time I learn how to make jelly. Ya ya I know it's very easy but I never try before! I just 'agak-agak' the water needed to cook the agar-agar strips. And the results is pretty good *wink*

Mom's curry chicken
Since the day mom taught me how to make her signature dish which she has received a lot of compliments from our family,relative and friends I have decided to learn her signature dish from her. Therefore, mom has told me how to cook her curry and gave me the recipe. Until today I've tried so my times and each time I failed to make the same curry as mom does. I even snap photo and showed to my mom my curry chicken but to her surprise the results is totally different. I know mom has gave me all her recipe because I helped her in the preparation before but I just can't get it right.
Today I was so into eating curry chicken again and we went to TESCO at about 4.30pm to buy the ingredients and the results is still the same :( Called my mom after my dinner today and told her the problem. So I have decided when I'm back home for the long raya break I should show her the way I do my cooking. Will let her to correct my perhaps wrong cooking way / style.
This is my curry chicken for tonight it's more dry as I decided not to add in too much water and was trying to do an experiment for rendang (dry curry). I was about to fried the egg and gave a second thought..maybe hard boiled egg to be added in to my so called dry curry. It's not very hot as I add less dry chili. The funny thing is I get the same aroma but not the texture. I doubt I add in too less cooking oil and also I did not 'tumis' enough. We'll see after next week see what is the results after my mom observe my cooking.

Bubur ChaCha

11-8-2011 Salted fish curry
While I was doing my shopping last Tuesday I have this suddenly craving for slated fish curry and immediately i grab the necessary ingredients for the cooking. It taste so good and I love the spiciness. I grind using the recipe given by my mom and i used BABAS curry powder for fish and with little bit of chili powder. I love the spiciness but BF don't really like it as I saw some smoke came out from his head while eating the curry!! hehe...

Mee Jawa @ Mee Rebus
For the first time I tried my luck in making mee jawa and it turned out to be a good one,yah..love the taste but i feel that i should have add in more sweet potato instead of one with that my broth will be more thicken.
Pork Floss
I am back! I've so wanted to make my own and my first time ever Pork Floss. Google some recipe online and managed to found one recipe. But the taste turn out to be so~so only as I only dry fry for 30mins instead of an hour as recommended. Well this is the results of being lazy :-P..Will post up the picture later.
